The Journey Behind SULIS JOURNEY LLC

For many years, the dream of creating a private practice lived quietly in my heart.

Throughout my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of their lives. I have supported children, families, adults, older adults, caregivers, veterans, healthcare professionals, and leaders as they navigated trauma, loss, change, illness, stress, and the many transitions that shape the human experience.

While much of my professional journey led me into healthcare leadership, my passion for clinical work never left. Leadership gave me the opportunity to influence systems, mentor professionals, support teams, and help organizations create healthier environments. It allowed me to understand the challenges faced by those who care for others, the emotional weight carried by healthcare providers, leaders, caregivers, and individuals who often put everyone else’s needs before their own.

Yet, throughout those years, the connection I felt in direct clinical work remained at the center of who I am.

I always believed there was a place where my clinical experience, leadership knowledge, and commitment to compassionate care could come together, a space where people could slow down, feel heard, reconnect with their strengths, and focus on the healing that matters most to them.

That vision became SULIS JOURNEY LLC, officially established in 2025.

Although the company was formed in 2025, the heart of Sulis Journey was created over decades of experiences, relationships, lessons learned, and moments shared with the people I have been honored to serve. It represents the culmination of a lifelong commitment to helping others find healing, resilience, and hope.

The name Sulis Journey was inspired by Sulis, the Celtic Goddess of Healing Waters. Water has long symbolized renewal, restoration, and transformation. Just as water flows, adapts, and restores, I believe healing is a journey that unfolds differently for each person and honors where they have been, where they are today, and where they hope to go.

At SULIS JOURNEY LLC, my goal is not to tell people what their healing should look like. Instead, I believe in walking alongside each person as a partner in their journey. Together, we identify goals that are meaningful, recognize existing strengths, and create steps toward growth and wellness.

My years in healthcare leadership taught me the importance of compassion, connection, and empowering others to discover their own abilities. My years as a clinician taught me the power of being truly present with another person. SULIS JOURNEY LLC brings those experiences together in a place where evidence-based therapy, holistic care, and genuine human connection meet.

Creating this practice is more than starting a business. It is bringing a dream to life, a dream built on decades of service, learning, and a deep belief that every person deserves the opportunity to heal.
